How To Become A Member Of WLIB

We are always looking for new members who want to make a difference in the lives of fellow business women and the community we live in. If you would like to be a guest at an upcoming luncheon, please contact us.

Membership Criteria 

Decision Maker (Owner, C-Level Position or Manager)
Minimum of 5 years in your current profession
Attendance at WLIB meetings: 3 consecutive absences is grounds for termination or suspension from group
Can only fill an open business category
Must hold a current business license in Kern County (if self-employed)
Sponsorship: each new member must be sponsored by a current member in good standing
Dues must be kept current at all times
References: each new member must supply 2 good references
A personal/professional bio must accompany each new membership application

Application Process

Each new member application will take from 2-5 weeks to process
Processing will include contacting references and verifying information provided
Each applicant will meet with the Board of Directors before admittance. This meeting is informal and is intended to help applicants set expectations while letting the Board know how to help each member in a way that would be significant and relevant to them

Fee Schedule

Initiation Fee: $200.00
Quarterly Dues: $300.00
